Do you believe in magic?

The lucky ORA students staying at Jowett Walk this week enjoyed a visit to the Warner Bros. Studio Tour, where they were given a glimpse into the magical world of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
The long-awaited excursion kicked off yesterday, and was the perfect end to a week of hard work for our students staying at Jowett Walk. The Studio Tour took in key props and pieces of set design such as the Great Hall and the Hogwarts Express, as well as costumes from the films and behind-the-scenes snapshots exploring life on the set of the films.

One excited student is keen to get her Potter passport stamped.

Meanwhile, our other campuses were enjoying adventures of their own, with a separate group of students visiting Warwick Castle’s newly-relaunched attractions such as the iconic Horrible Histories maze. In the evening, a birds of prey demonstration took place at Yarnton Manor, enabling students to get up close – and in some cases even hold – an impressive variety of owls and raptors.
It was back to work today, however, with students across the board preparing projects and submitting work ahead of their classes next week. They’ve attended their first week’s classes and excursions with a smile, and teachers look forward to finding them refreshed and eager as ever on Monday!
