ORA Session 1 Starts Tomorrow!

We’ve been waiting all year for this moment, and it’s finally here – Oxford Royale Summer Schools’s Session 1 starts tomorrow!

At the crack of dawn, ORA staff will be setting off to Heathrow airport to collect the first of many arrivals and take them to the wonderful city of Oxford, where beautiful summery weather is expected all week.
This year, for the first time, students and their parents will enjoy a traditional English afternoon tea on arrival at the colleges. There they’ll meet the campus staff who’ll be looking after the students while they’re here with us. We will also be offering tours of each campus so that students can get to know the college where they’ll be staying. Later in the evening there will be a welcome talk for students and parents and, after that, students will get to have their very first dinner in a college dining hall. Ice breaker activities will help everyone get to know each other – then the summer will really begin!

There are lots of reasons why our first session is going to be particularly special this year. We can tell how enthusiastic students are feeling about joining us this summer from the fact that this was the fastest-filling session 1 ever! In fact, it’s been so popular we’ve added two new annexes – both brand new for this year – at Jowett Walk and St George’s Gate. We’re also looking forward to exciting trips to Stratford-upon-Avon, Hampton Court Palace and historic Bath, plus new excursions to Woburn Abbey and Safari Park.
Session 1 students, we can’t wait to see you!
