Meet the Scholars: Kylie

 
“When I was notified that I received the 4995 pounds scholarship to Oxford Royale Summer Schools for the Law School Preparation course, I was overwhelmed with joy.
This is such a great opportunity for me to to learn key skills such as critical thinking and communication, Whatever career I choose to go forward in, I will benefit from the teaching of this course as the above mentioned skills are key to success.
The course also helps in building confidence and that will help me in the long run as I will be able to voice my opinions in a civilized manner.
I am also able to experience what it would be like to have a career in law and be able to see the reality instead of what is shown on television programmes and movies.
This programme in general would benefit me in many ways as I will learn necessary skills for any workforce but also the skills needed if I wish to have a future in law, which is very likely.
Overall the scholarship was a blessing as I now have the opportunity to do things I could never do in little New Zealand. This is why I’m thankful to Oxford Royale Summer Schools for giving this amazing award to me.”
