Spotlight on Cambridge – and we’re leaking a little secret… | Oxford Royale Summer Schools

The soaring buttresses and Gothic arches of Cambridge, straddling the river Cam on the infamous “backs”, comprise the perfect home for our students during the summer. Whilst living and studying in Clare College, they can explore the delights of this university city – recently named the second best university in the world according to the Times Higher Education World University Rankings.
Until recently, only 16-18 year old students attended our programmes in Cambridge. But all that is about to change.

There’s something for everyone!

Our Cambridge service is expanding to include another college, the details of which will be announced in the next few weeks. The course offering will be expanding to include our ever-popular Broadening Horizons course, instead of only single-subject courses, which has been the mainstay of the Cambridge programme in the past.
And, for the first time ever, we will be welcoming 13-15 year old students to Oxford Royale Summer Schools courses in Cambridge. Until recently the 13-15 programme was confined only in Oxford centres, but now younger students will have the opportunity to explore a whole new city alongside their older counterparts.
The popular New Perspectives programme will be on offer for this younger age group in Cambridge for the foreseeable future, but that is subject to change in following summers.
We will keep you updated with further developments on Summer 2018 as and when they develop, so keep an eye on our news page for further details!
