Oxford Royale Summer Schools sweeps the red carpet…

Oxford Royale Summer Schools has been nominated as a finalist for two prestigious education awards!

The Education Investor Awards took place at London Hilton Park Lane on 5th December, while the British Youth Travel Awards took place at the Hippodrome Casino in London on 7th December. Both ceremonies were a nail-bitingly near thing.  
The Education Investor Awards, which recognise excellence and innovation in the education market, saw Oxford Royale Summer Schools facing fierce competition in its category – Exporting Excellence – as we went up against three other big names in the industry.
The British Youth Travel Awards were coordinated by the British Educational Travel Association (BETA), and reward the excellent work done by organisations involved in student and youth travel. The category we have been nominated for  – Best Educational Product – saw us head to head with an equally impressive array of competitors.

Unfortunately we did not win either category, but we were pleased and proud to have been nominated as a finalist, which is nonetheless impressive when going up against such high-profile competitors in the industry. We were secretly a little pleased to have swept the Silver medal in our category at the British Youth Travel Awards. After all, there is no cloud without a Silver lining (pun intended, naturally), and until next year we’re content with that.
