New Course – Introduction to Computer Science for ages 13-15!

It is with great pleasure that Oxford Royale Summer Schools can announce a new programme for 2016 – Introduction to Computer Science for ages 13-15!
1618 LMH 2015 Computer Science 2
Due to the success of ORA’s Computer Science Programme for ages 16-18, along with expressions of interest from a number of previous summer students, we have decided to offer a similar course to our younger students.
The Introduction to Computer Science programme will give students a taste of this exciting field of study. Students will learn the key theoretical principles of Computer Science, including programming languages, and will even have the chance to create their own website. Students will also gain an insight into what further study and a career in Computer Science will entail, should they choose to pursue this in the future.
Explore the fascinating discipline of Computer Science while enjoying everything else that an ORA course has to offer, such as:

  • meeting new friends from all over the world
  • taking part in two exciting coach excursions
  • a full programme of social activities
  • live and study in an historic setting – Lady Margaret Hall, a college of the University of Oxford
  • and much more!
