medical bio

Due to the increased popularity of ORA’s Medical Biology course, we have added another class to the summer 2016 schedule.
The Medical Biology course is subject option in ORA’s Broadening Horizons summer programme for 16-18 year olds. It is one of the most popular choices for students deciding whether future study of medicine or related biomedical degrees or medicine-related professions such as nursing, pharmacology and midwifery might be for them.
The Medical Biology course is an interactive and engaging course covering a range of topics from the science that supports modern medical practice, to medical ethics and the political and environmental factors affecting public health. More details of the course can be found here.
Students on the Broadening Horizons course will have the choice of another subject to study alongside Medical Biology (details of which can be found here) as well as all the exciting features of an ORA summer course indluding exciting workshops, 2 cultural excursions, fabulous parties, INSIGHT Masterclasses and the chance to make friends from all over the world (and much, much more!).
