One Month to Go…

At Oxford Royale Summer Schools, we are gearing up for the Summer School Programme in earnest.
Our staff are working harder than ever to ensure that everything is ready for the first students to descend upon the Manor in June. There is plenty to do every year, and there never seems to be enough time.

The courses are all prepared.

Tutors are putting the final touches to their courses; everything from Languages to Law; and counsellors are getting a head-start planning their excursions. With so many activities to choose from at ORA; from punting trips to Oxford, evening ghost tours, and visits to Stratford Upon Avon and Warner Brothers Studios; there is a lot to plan.

“It was past time for my polish, you lazy humans!”

Campus staff have been cleaning the Manor from top to bottom, preparing the student’s rooms, and sprucing up the pair of iron deer that live on the front lawn. They have been rained on quite a lot lately, bless them!
Our groundskeepers are keeping busy as well, whether they are tending the flowers or mowing the lawns. There have also been a suspicious number of marquees appearing in the grounds lately. Who knows what they might be for?

There’s nothing like a sunny day for a bike ride.

Even ORA’s  famous box-on-a-bicycle has been making the rounds this morning, sunning itself on the lawns and shaking off the cobwebs of the winter.
We are excited about welcoming our first group of students. With nationalities from all over the world expected to join us for a summer of study, ORA staff are keen to meet students from new cultures. If you’re thinking of joining us, then stop thinking, and book here!
