Image shows binary numbers in green against a dark background. In summer 2015, Oxford Royale Summer Schools will be offering a brand new course. If you’re dreaming of becoming the next Mark Zuckerberg or Elon Musk, then this is the subject for you.
Our new Computer Science course will teach you all the basics of website programming, including learning three programming languages: HTML, CSS and Fortran. By the end of the course, you’ll have your own fully interactive website to show off your newly learned skills, and you’ll learn about the theoretical ideas that underpin the computing we use every day.
This course will be residential in Lady Margaret Hall, a college of the University of Oxford that dates to Victorian times and is known for its lovely grounds. Students taking the course will live and learn in the college, getting a taste for the lifestyle of an Oxford student. The full range of events, coach tours and cultural activities that enrich all of our courses will also be available to students on the Computer Science course.
