Our one-week summer courses for ages 13-18 take place in one of two time zones. In a packed Monday to Friday programme, you’ll benefit from:
Gain unparalleled knowledge and insight into a subject you are passionate about by developing an independent Research Project with one of our world-class academics at the cutting edge of their field.
Over a minimum of three weeks and across 10 individual contact hours, you will be matched with a tutor who will guide your learning as you delve into your subject of interest and gain a head start in mastering the art of real-world project development and implementation.
On successful completion of the course, you will receive a personalised letter of recommendation for use in university and college applications, as well as a graduation certificate for proof of the achievement.

Our Online Summer School consists of week-long summer courses starting every Monday from the beginning of May to the end of August. Our courses are the perfect way to expand on your knowledge and prepare you for any study ahead, while also being an engaging and exciting dive into new or familiar subjects. Guided and independent study periods, along with student-led breakout rooms, enable you to explore your chosen field with expert tutors and international peers. These interactive sessions are more student-led and provide a unique opportunity for learning and an exchange of ideas in a truly global classroom. You will learn as from each other as well as from your tutor, broadening your view of the world and expanding your appreciation for different peoples and cultures.
If group lessons are not for you, and you would prefer to have individual tutoring to develop your own independent research project you can contact our team to arrange this. We will match you with a world class academic with expertise in your field of interest. Over a minimum of 3 weeks, you will have the opportunity to independently develop a research project, with 10 hours' worth of one-to-one contact with your tutor. This project will give you the chance to expand your knowledge and delve deeper into a subject you are passionate about. Your project will be assessed and graded with detailed feedback, and a letter of recommendation and/or certificate will be awarded upon completion.
You will enjoy a full enrichment programme that includes lectures and seminars from industry experts and professionals on relevant global topics, as well as workshops on university applications and talks from prestigious universities. The aim of the Enrichment Programme is to enhance students' key skills and allow them the opportunity to link, socialise and network with their international peers.
As a student of the Oxford Summer School Online, you will have free access to our library of digital content with over 20 on-demand courses featuring almost 100 hours of self-paced learning material. There will also be the opportunity to book additional live tutoring with Oxford Royale faculty members, should you wish to build on the material covered in your virtual session.
