How to Enter the Competition

Share your Oxford Royale experience during the first week of your session. You could be selected to take over our Instagram Stories for a day and showcase your story to over 30,000 followers worldwide!

Step 1: Share you Summer

Post a TikTok, Reel or Instagram grid photo/video that shows what your first week at Oxford Royale is really like.

Think: a day in your life, your favourite moment so far, or a behind-the-scenes look at your Oxford adventure.

Step 2: Tag Us

Make sure to tag @OxfordRoyale in your post and include the hashtag #ORStudentTakeover in your caption.

We’ll be keeping an eye on the hashtag!

Step 3: Tag a Friend

Know someone who’d love this summer as much as you? Tag a friend in your post who you think should join next year’s programme.

That’s it!

Post during your first week on campus and you’ll be in the running to win a 1-day Instagram Story takeover in Week 2.

The Winner

Each session, one student will be selected to take over our Instagram Stories for a day during their second week on campus.

We’ll choose the winner based on:

How well the content captures the Oxford Royale experience

Winners will be contacted via direct message on Instagram.

Want an extra opportunity to show off your summer and be in for the chance to win a £25 Amazon gift voucher? We’ve got just the thing for you!

All you have to do is post your favourite moment of each day – from what you did in class, the excursion you went on, a sunny day on campus, or just you and your friends – and use the hashtag #ORDailyPrize and your campus name – #London #Cambridge #NewYork #Yale, and if you’re in Oxford your college – e.g. #Balliol

The winner each day will be contacted by DMs – so get posting, and have the summer of a lifetime.

Terms and Conditions

Please read the competition terms carefully before entering. By participating, you agree to Oxford Royale’s content guidelines and grant permission for your submissions to be shared on our official channels.

To enter, students must post during their first week on their Oxford Royale programme, tagging @OxfordRoyale and using #ORStudentTakeover, and tag a friend they think would enjoy the experience.

Acceptable content includes Instagram Reels, Instagram grid posts or TikTok.

One winner will be selected per session, based on the creativity of their submission and how effectively it captures the spirit of the Oxford Royale experience.

Selected winners will be contacted directly via Instagram direct message.

The Instagram Story takeover will take place over one day during the winner’s second week on their Oxford Royale programme.

Winners will not receive direct access to the Oxford Royale Instagram account. All content and captions must be submitted in advance for posting by the Oxford Royale team.

By entering, participants grant Oxford Royale permission to share their submitted content across official platforms.

Oxford Royale reserves the right to edit or decline any submitted content prior to publication if deemed necessary.
