Our ImpactCreating opportunity through education
£1.5 Million. Invested in Potential.
At Oxford Royale, education is not simply delivered. It is invested in.
Since 2005, we have awarded over £1.5 million in scholarships, bursaries and educational support, opening doors to exceptional young people worldwide.
And this commitment continues to grow.
Expanding Access to Global Education
Between 2008 and 2025, Oxford Royale awarded 266 scholarships and bursaries, with funded places now valued at up to £6,995 per student — reflecting the depth and quality of our programmes.
Through our Global Essay Competition in 2025, students from 98 countries competed for fully funded places. Ten outstanding scholars were awarded full scholarships in recognition of academic merit and potential.
Essay Competition Winner
It is fantastic for our expert teachers to continue to engage with students through this programme, and each year the winners enjoy a transformational experience awarding their hard work. Hear from a winner here.
Ukraine initiative 2025
In the same year, we welcomed six fully funded Ukrainian students through a dedicated partner-led initiative. For young people whose education had been disrupted by conflict, the programme provided academic continuity, global connection and a safe environment in which to learn and thrive.
Each scholarship represents more than financial support. It represents confidence, belonging and possibility.
Long-Term Impact
The true measure of impact is not two weeks — it is trajectory.
Former scholars have progressed to leading global universities, advanced research and careers in STEM, education and social entrepreneurship — many now championing access to education themselves.
One scholarship can shape a future. Its influence can extend far beyond it.
Achieving Success: Eleonora's Story
PhD Student in Theoretical Physics & STEM Influencer
Founder of Girls in STEM & Published Author
Eleonora joined Oxford Royale on a scholarship in 2016. Now, she's a PhD student in theoretical physics at the University of Oxford, with a background in mathematics and physics from Stockholm University and the University of Cambridge.
Beyond her academic pursuits, Eleonora is the founder of Girls in STEM, a non-profit organisation dedicated to empowering young women to explore careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Investing in Communities
Our responsibility extends beyond our students.
In 2025, Oxford Royale donated £7,400+ in surplus resources to local schools and charities across Oxford. We also began transitioning to digital academic materials, eliminating over 8,000 printed materials from summer 2026 onwards — reducing waste while improving access to up-to-date resources.
Excellence and responsibility go hand in hand.
A Commitment That Continues
Our ESG & Impact strategy reflects a long-standing commitment to responsible education.
We believe education shapes futures. We believe opportunity should be shared. And we believe meaningful impact is built over time.
£1.5 million awarded — and counting.
