About Clare College
Clare College Cambridge was founded in the year 1326, making it the second oldest constituent college of the University. Along with this venerable pedigree, the college also has a reputation for liberalism and inclusivity – it was among the first three colleges in Cambridge to admit female students in 1972. Today the college remains highly popular for prospective students, and takes pride in the transparency of its admissions process.
Clare is known for the beauty of its architecture, and features two Oxbridge-style quadrangles: Memorial Court and Old Court. Between them students will have a wealth of atmospheric space in which to relax and study.
