International Medical Research and Practice II: Practitioner

Oxford Royale Academy's 2022 Advanced Medical Research and Practice Summer School for Adults on the campus of the University of Oxford, taught by elite ORA academic faculty.

Applying this research, you will complete a clinical examination of various structures comprising the central nervous system with a particular focus on the mechanism of action and function of all of the cranial nerves.
  • Investigate common central nervous system disorders such as ALS, motor neurone disease, meningitis, bipolar disorder and epilepsy, while evaluating emerging treatments.
  • Investigate both the practice of medicine and biomedical research through guest speakers and visits to university biomedical labs, simulation centers, and research facilities.
  • Gain practical insight into a career as a surgeon, doctor, nurse, or allied health professional and identify how to navigate the medical school application process.
