Throughout this module, you will learn about the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), 17 guiding principles which provide a blueprint for a healthier, more equal planet Earth. You’ll learn to critically examine what global sustainability is, and research some examples of global policies that have been created to promote global sustainability.
Over two weeks, you’ll work on a design project based on a tutor-provided brief, often involving a building with a specific function. Participate in workshops and seminars to develop skills like brief analysis, design thinking, proposal creation, and client communication. Receive personalised feedback to refine your ideas, and present your final proposal in a critique and exhibition.
Take part in an inspiring workshop that introduces you to green careers and the future of sustainability, guided by professionals such as sustainability consultants, engineers, and eco-artists.
