Rise and Shine – 8:00 AM![]()
The day begins with breakfast, a chance to fuel up and catch up with friends. Excitement fills the air as students chat about where they’re headed this afternoon. Will it be the towering glass skyline of Canary Wharf? The grand Royal Courts of Justice? Wherever they’re going, everyone knows they’re in for an unforgettable experience!
Morning Seminar 1 – 9:00 AM
After breakfast, students gather for the first seminar of the day. The morning’s sessions are all about building the foundations for the afternoon’s experience—sharpening critical thinking, asking questions, and preparing for what they’ll encounter off campus.
Break – 10:00 AM
Time for a well-earned pause! A quick break gives students time to grab a snack and reset. You grab a coffee and a snack, chatting with classmates about the morning’s seminar. Groups begin to talk about where they’re heading and what they hope to see—some excited about visiting Battersea Power Station and Nine Elms whilst others are buzzing for their medical workshop! The energy is high, and everyone’s eager for what’s next.
Morning Seminar 2 – 10:30 AM
The second seminar builds on the morning’s discussions, encouraging students to reflect more critically and consider how their ideas relate to the wider world. With the afternoon’s field trip in mind, the session helps lay the groundwork for observing and thinking differently beyond the classroom.
Lunch Break – 1::00 PM
Lunch is a chance to recharge and reconnect. Students enjoy their meals while chatting with friends, sharing thoughts from the morning, and looking ahead to the afternoon’s trip. There’s a relaxed buzz in the air—everyone is refreshed, refocused, and ready to make the most of what’s still to come.
Academic Field Trip – 2:00 PM
Now it’s time for the main event—students head out across London on their academic field trips. Each subject is travelling to a unique, high-profile location, tailored to their area of study. Whether walking through historic streets, visiting cutting-edge offices, or speaking directly with industry professionals, this is where the real magic happens.
- Law & Politics students step into the grand halls of the Royal Courts of Justice, where they explore landmark cases and the history of British law.
- Engineering & AI students visit Imperial College London for an expert panel and an AI challenge, immersing themselves in innovation and future-focused thinking.
- Architecture & Design students explore the bold redevelopment of Battersea andNine Elms, guided by a leading architect and town planner.
- Business & Entrepreneurship students visit two exciting companies—MG OMD,a global media agency, and Topham Guerin, leaders in creative campaigning.
- Economics & Finance students journey to Canary Wharf, stepping inside a top-levelFinTech office for insight into global finance and cyber security.
- Medicine students take part in a hands-on clinical workshop led by Medical Mavericks, using professional equipment to simulate real-world medical procedures.
The afternoon offers a valuable opportunity to step outside the classroom and see ideas in action. Whether touring a workplace, hearing from professionals, or observing a new environment, students come away with fresh perspectives and new insights to carry forward!
Dinner – 6:00 PM
Dinner brings everyone together in a lively and upbeat setting. Students catch up with friends from across the programme, share stories from the day, and enjoy a good meal in great company. There’s plenty of conversation, laughter, and a feeling that the evening is just getting started.
Evening Activities – 7:30 PM
Evening activities offer a relaxed end to the day. Some students join in with casual games or creative sessions, while others unwind in the common room, chatting or listening to music. It’s a chance to enjoy some free time, recharge, and make the most of the evening with friends.
Lights Out – 10:30 PM
Curfew arrives, and it’s time to reset. Tomorrow brings new lessons, workshops, and adventures – and you can’t wait!
