Rise and Shine – 8:00 AM

You wake up in one of the University of Oxford’s prestigious colleges, ready for another exciting day. Breakfast is served in the grand dining hall, where you chat with your friends about today’s lessons and activities. With a fresh cup of coffee and a casebook in hand, you’re ready to start the day.

Morning Lessons – 9:00 AM

Class begins with a fascinating seminar on Populism and Democracy, diving into real-world case studies of political movements and legal frameworks that shape modern governance. You engage in discussions, take detailed notes, and analyse landmark cases that have defined legal history.

A short break gives you time to grab a snack, chat with your classmates, and review key concepts before the next session.

Break – 10:00 AM

Time for a well-earned pause! You grab a coffee and a snack, chatting with classmates about the morning’s seminar. Some students take a stroll around the college grounds, while others find a quiet spot to relax before the next session begins.

Legal Skills Workshop – 11:00 AM

Now it’s time to develop your advocacy skills! In today’s session on The Art of Public Speaking, you learn the foundations of persuasive argumentation—essential for any future lawyer. You practice delivering compelling legal arguments and receive feedback from your tutor.

By the end of the session, you feel more confident presenting your case in front of an audience.

Lunch Break – 1:00 PM

Time to take a break! You and your friends stroll through the historic streets of Oxford, picking up lunch from a nearby café. You sit by the Radcliffe Camera, enjoying the sunshine and discussing everything from today’s debate to your favorite TV shows.

Afternoon Lessons – 2:00 PM

Back in class, today’s topic is Citizenship and Nationalism. You work in teams to analyse legal frameworks and their impact on global politics, exploring how different countries define citizenship and human rights.

The interactive discussions make the subject come to life, and you leave the session with a deeper understanding of international law.

Moot Court – 3:30 PM

Now for the highlight of the day—a mock trial! You step into the shoes of a barrister, arguing a fictional case in front of a panel of judges (your classmates and tutor). With well-researched arguments and persuasive reasoning, you make your case, defending your client with confidence.

It’s an intense but exhilarating experience, and you leave the courtroom with valuable skills in argumentation and critical thinking.

Time to Relax – 5:00 PM

After an intellectually stimulating day, it’s time to unwind. You and your friends take a punt down the river, practicing your steering skills while soaking in the beauty of Oxford. Some students opt for a game of football in University Parks, while others relax with a book by the riverbank.

Dinner on Campus – 6:00 PM

Dinner is served in the dining hall, where you catch up with friends from different courses. You share stories from the day’s lessons and exchange ideas about future career paths in law, politics, and beyond.

Evening Activities – 8:00 PM

Tonight, you join the Public Speaking and Debate Society, where students tackle controversial legal topics in a structured debate format. It’s an exciting session, filled with passionate arguments and sharp counterpoints.

Later, you take part in the Oxford Royale Quiz Night, testing your knowledge across a range of topics. Some students choose to relax with a movie at the campus cinema, while others prepare for tomorrow’s Challenge Day, where they’ll apply their legal knowledge to a real-world case study.

Lights Out – 10:30 PM

Curfew arrives, and it’s time to rest. Tomorrow brings more seminars, workshops, and opportunities to sharpen your legal expertise. As you settle in for the night, you reflect on everything you’ve learned and the friendships you’ve made.
