Our New York Summer School is hosted on campus at Barnard College, Columbia University. Oxford Royale students will stay in suite-style housing on the Barnard College campus, providing an authentic taste of student life at Columbia University. The modern accommodation combines comfort and convenience, making it an ideal base for your summer studies.
Housing style: Suite-style Room layout: Single and double rooms in 6-person suites Bathroom facilities: Each suite has its own bathroom, shared between six students
Safety and security on campus
In the college students are overseen by a Programme Director, who implements the day-to-day running of the programme. The Director is assisted by a team of Counsellors who very often are current members of our host institutions.
The Counsellors ensure that students are looked after pastorally, culturally and socially during their programme. Students are able to talk informally and frankly to the Counsellors in order to raise concerns or to discuss university applications.
Each campus has a few members of residential staff who live in the college throughout the programme and are able to assist students at any time of the day or night. Our campus is monitored by security 24 hours a day and is not accessible to the public.
