Course Summary

In the current digital era, rapid technological advancements have a direct impact on our way of life. The field of Robotics is a clear example of this. As an interdisciplinary science that combines mechanical engineering, electronic engineering, information engineering and computer science, robotics seeks to create systems that can replicate human actions and aid various applications.

Robots add tremendous value, operating autonomously in dangerous environments (such as underwater and in space), manufacturing systems and home automation. Within this one-week course, students will take part in a series of fun and exciting practical tasks that provides them with the opportunity to build and interact with their own robot. In addition, they will learn about the various components and functionalities of robots – their design, behaviour and control.

During the course you will develop your logic and design skills using customisable structural robotics components.
