Course Summary

Design Thinking and Creative Problem Solving is an exciting and interactive two-week course that provides the perfect framework for students to realise their personal goals and ambitions. Throughout the course, students focus on microcycle Design Thinking by applying real-life challenges to the theory. Students work through their challenges systematically and provide explanations at each of the following stages: understand the task, observe, define point of view, ideate, prototype, test, and reflect.

The lessons and workshops will show how Design Thinking can be applied at the macro level and iteratively. Students will then be able to translate their big ideas into a reality by procedural testing. This demonstrates how Design Thinking can facilitate individuals in reaching their life goals and ambitions by putting their needs first.
