This course will cover topics from learning about the problems of global warming to thinking about the solutions required to solve them.
Further, these topics will be considered alongside wider environmental issues such as pollution and the decline of bee populations, this option is perfect for those looking to place themselves at the cutting edge of a crucial area.
Students aged 12 can expect an inspiring two weeks of study and cultural experiences while living and studying in St Hugh’s College, Oxford. The ability to choose from our range of course options means that students can tailor their course to suit their goals, enabling them to try out exciting new things and make decisions about which subjects they may like to pursue further.
Students staying for two weeks choose one morning subject (see all subjects available in the lists below) and one workshop class from 5 possible options, receiving more than 20 hours of tuition per week. Attendees can also opt to stay for four weeks, selecting additional options.
Take this course if you are aged 12 and would like to experience new subjects in the environment of the university of Oxford this summer, living and studying in an Oxford college (St Hugh’s). Outside of class, students will embark on an exciting programme of extracurricular activities in Oxford, as well as excursions further afield.
