Course Summary

Through a series of presentations, practical exercises and theoretical based learning, students will invent their own business or product.

They will then think about what steps they need to do to make it a success, based on their theoretical lessons. As a result, this subject option offers a fantastic head-start for the entrepreneurs of the future!

Course Outcomes

What to expect from the Oxford Futures summer course

Students aged 12 can expect an inspiring two weeks of study and cultural experiences while living and studying in St Hugh’s College, Oxford. The ability to choose from our range of course options means that students can tailor their course to suit their goals, enabling them to try out exciting new things and make decisions about which subjects they may like to pursue further.

Students staying for two weeks choose one morning subject (see all subjects available in the lists below) and one workshop class from 5 possible options, receiving more than 20 hours of tuition per week. Attendees can also opt to stay for four weeks, selecting additional options.

Take this course if you are aged 12 and would like to experience new subjects in the environment of the university of Oxford this summer, living and studying in an Oxford college (St Hugh’s). Outside of class, students will embark on an exciting programme of extracurricular activities in Oxford, as well as excursions further afield.
