Oxford Royale’s 2016 #ORASELFIE Competition Winner
This year’s #ORASELFIE competition has drawn an impressive variety of creative entries. After much deliberation, however, we are delighted to announce the overall winner!
From quirky snapchat filters to Arnolfini-style mirror shots, summer 2016 students were really going the extra mile to ensure their selfies stood out from the rest. Some even experimented with GoPro cameras, or tweaked their entries using photo editing software. The rise of the selfie stick over the past twelve months also threw open multiple possibilities, and enabled even more students to bundle into a shot.
The winning selfie earned our favour both for its simplicity (the student who entered is the student holding the device) and for the sheer joy she managed to capture on all her friends’ faces as they clustered under the ORA bunting on their final day.
Without further ado, then, we would like to present our hearty congratulations (and, of course, an iPad Air 2) to Isabel, who studied New Perspectives with us in Session 3. A thoroughly deserving winner
