New Course – Oxford Architecture Programme for ages 16-18!

Oxford Royale Summer Schools is delighted to announce another new programme for 2016 – the Oxford Architecture Programme for ages 16-18.

2015-11-26

In response to expressions of interest for a summer architecture course, ORA has developed an entirely new programme for 16-18 year olds, through which students can gain an exciting insight into this fascinating field.
The Oxford Architecture Programme combines theory, technique and practical skills to give students a comprehensive introduction to architecture. Students will learn about the realities of pursuing a career in architecture, will consider the challenges facing the architect today and will discuss real-life scenarios and design projects. They will gain an understanding of what future study of architecture will entail, as well as a head-start in some of the key theories and principles covered by this field.
Students will also enjoy all of the other benefits that ORA courses offer, including:
• meeting new friends from all over the world
• taking part in two exciting coach excursions
• learning outside of the classroom, through our ORACLE seminars and Insight Masterclasses
• a full programme of social activities
• live and study in an historic setting – Balliol College, University of Oxford.
• and much more!
We believe that there is no better place to start your journey towards success in the field of architecture than amongst the dreaming spires of Oxford. To read more about Oxford Architecture Programme and to apply, click here➙
